Welcome to my first ever Blog Post!

I’ve never had a blog before, but I know it’s a great way for you to get to know me and what I do. So, here it goes…

I didn’t get to where I am today without making some major adjustments to my life. I’ve gone from being someone who lived an unhealthy lifestyle—drinking too much alcohol, eating McDonald’s every day, and never exercising—to a person who wakes up excited for life. Well, most days, anyway!

Although every day isn’t perfect, I’ve learned how to pull myself back when I feel overwhelmed or fall into a rut. Life is full of ups and downs, but it's about making the right choices when things get tough, and developing the tools to get back on track when needed.

That’s exactly what my coaching style is all about. It’s not about striving for perfection; it’s about teaching you how to truly care for yourself so that when life throws curveballs—as it inevitably does—you’re equipped to handle it with more ease and resilience.

Think of it like taking care of your car. You don’t wait for it to break down to check if the airbags are working, the brakes are functioning, or the seat belts are in good condition. You maintain it so that when something unexpected happens, you’re ready.

Similarly, looking after yourself—your body, mind, and spirit—is essential. It’s not just about surviving life’s challenges, but about thriving through them. By building these foundational habits, you’ll be able to respond to life’s ups and downs with strength, clarity, and balance.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s been a bumpy road filled with ups and downs. It’s through these challenges that I’ve had some of my biggest "A-ha" moments. I’ve been the single working mom, the mom in a bad relationship with two parents in the house, the single mom struggling while unemployed, and the mom who started her own business. I’ve worn many hats over the years, and each version of me has taught me something new about resilience and growth.

Through it all, I’ve learned that adapting to each version of myself has been a continuous learning curve. And I’m proof that if you keep going, keep adapting, and keep pushing through the hard times, you’ll eventually reach a place where you’re living as your very best self.

I’m a professional coach, specializing in guiding individuals toward living their best life. If you’re reading this, I know you’re someone who is committed to feeling your very best and ready to take the steps needed to make that a reality.

The journey to your best self doesn’t happen overnight, but with the right guidance and a commitment to taking small, consistent steps, it’s absolutely possible. If you’re ready to stop reacting to life and start thriving, I’d love to be part of your journey.
